No entry to pain!
The Mayanei Hayeshua Pain Clinic, directed by Prof. Nathan Wechsler, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, offers medical solutions for the control and management of pain. Equipped with specially designated and technologically advanced equipment, it is presently able to offer treatment to control and minimize most kinds of pain.
Patients who prefer to be treated in an environment compatible with their lifestyle will receive the treatment they require, at the highest level of professionalism, with the special emphasis placed in Mayanei Hayeshua on safeguarding the patient's personal dignity and modesty.
Treatment using a "pain ruler"
Treatment at the clinic is tailored specifically to each patient according to the degree of pain being experienced, which is evaluated by means of a device called a "pain ruler". Members of the medical team, who are specially trained in methods of pain assessment, will advise on further treatment, subject to the department protocol, and will be responsible for keeping continuous contact with the pain clinic.
High quality of life – despite pain
Sometimes treatment needs to be suited to the individual character of the patient, with a combination of physiotherapy and analgesics. Occasionally the treatment required by a patient can be difficult and prolonged, and may be without a high success rate. However, our goal is to enable the patient to enjoy a high quality of life, despite the pain,.
We also offer patients suffering from chronic pain, a unique treatment that can be carried out in their own home, without the need for hospitalization.
