Early diagnosis of heart disease and other cardiac conditions is more important today than ever, since most heart conditions now have advanced treatments that can significantly improve quality of life and life expectancy. In many cases, however, symptoms only appear in the advanced stages of the disease, which makes early diagnosis even more crucial.
The Cardiology and Catheterization Clinic, under the direction of Dr. Oren Agranat, provides cardiac investigations, consultations, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with a range of heart conditions. Particular emphasis is placed on diagnosing and treating the risk factors for heart disease — especially coronary artery disease — in order to help prevent disease progression.
