Image-Guided Injections

About

The Pain Clinic at Mayanei Hayeshua offers a range of advanced treatments designed to stop or reduce pain throughout the body. Equipped with specialized, advanced technology, the clinic is able to address most types of pain.

Image-guided injections — performed under X-ray (fluoroscopy) or ultrasound — are procedures in which the doctor places a precise injection of medication, usually a painkiller or anti-inflammatory, directly into the painful area. The X-ray or ultrasound guidance allows for pinpoint accuracy, so inflammatory or chronic pain can be treated as effectively as possible.

Patient Information

Before booking a treatment appointment, the patient first attends a consultation. At this consultation, the patient receives an explanation of the cause of the pain, the available treatment options, and the implications and effects of any ongoing medication they may be taking. Please bring a medical summary from your family doctor listing your current diagnoses and regular medications.

A medical record will be opened at the Imaging Institute.
