The Foot and Ankle Clinic treats a wide range of foot and ankle problems, including deformities, fractures, cuts, sports injuries, and stress injuries. Patients most often come in with undiagnosed pain, deformities, traumatic injuries, fractures, or localised lesions, as well as for follow-up after initial treatment in the emergency room or another setting.
The clinic provides diagnosis, consultation, and treatment, including procedures such as changing dressings or casts, steroid injections, and more. Where surgery is needed, it is carried out either as day surgery (ambulatory) or as part of a regular hospital stay.
Please note: the clinic does not treat diabetic ulcers, ingrown toenails, or foot warts.
Fractures of the foot, ankle, and tarsus
Deformities such as hammertoes, hallux valgus (bunion), and flat feet
Injuries and cuts, soft-tissue damage, and tendon tears
Degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) — cartilage wear and inflammation of the joints of the foot
The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
Members of Meuhedet HMO and Maccabi are admitted to the clinic by presentation of a referral only or by payment according to the hospital's price list.
As part of the agreements also with Clalit and Leumit HMOs, Forms 17 will be given to the outpatient clinics, or a payment will be made according to the hospital's price list.
