Home / Clinics & Institutes / Knee Sports Unit
The Knee and Sports Medicine Unit treats acute and chronic injuries to the soft tissues of the knee joint. The team diagnoses each patient’s condition, determines the best treatment plan, and provides ongoing treatment and follow-up through to recovery.
Surgery is usually performed using a minimally invasive arthroscopic approach, which allows operations to be carried out through small skin incisions without disturbing the surrounding
tissue. We make a point of ensuring continuity of care, so whenever possible patients are seen by the same physician at each visit.

The unit treats acute injuries and chronic conditions that affect knee movement and stability:
Ligament injuries
Meniscal injuries
Focal cartilage injuries
Stability and mobility problems of the joint
The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
Members of Meuhedet HMO and Maccabi are admitted to the clinic by presentation of a referral only or by payment according to the hospital's price list.
As part of the agreements also with Clalit and Leumit HMOs, Forms 17 will be given to the outpatient clinics, or a payment will be made according to the hospital's price list.
