About the Institute

ElectroEncephaloGraphy is an important auxiliary test for the diagnosis of neurological diseases and is essential for the diagnosis of epilepsy.
In the EEG institute, brainwaves are recorded while awake, and if necessary during sleep, usually after sleep deprivation.

Patient Information

Make sure to wash your hair on the morning of the test.

Do not apply gel or use hair conditioner.

Important to know

The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
Members of Meuhedet HMO and Maccabi are admitted to the clinic by presentation of a referral only or by payment according to the hospital's price list.
As part of the agreements also with Clalit and Leumit HMOs, Forms 17 will be given to the outpatient clinics, or a payment will be made according to the hospital's price list.

Prof. Nathan Gadoth

Head of the Neurology Unit

Prof. Nathan Gadoth, a graduate of the Hebrew University School of Medicine in Jerusalem, is Head of the Neurology Unit at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center and Chairman of the institution’s Helsinki Committee.

He completed his residency in pediatrics at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. He later specialized in pediatric and adult neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

He completed a residency in neurology at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where he later served as Deputy Head of the Neurology Department and Head of the Clinical Neurophysiology Unit.

He served as Head of the Neurology Department at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba and worked as a sleep physician at the Sleep Research Laboratory at Beit Levinstein.

In the past, he served as a Full Professor at Tel Aviv University, Chairman of the Ethics Committee of Tel Aviv University, Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Tel Aviv University, Chairman of the Pediatric Neurology Society, Chairman of the Adult Neurology Society, and Chairman of the Clinical Neurophysiology Society
