About

The Vascular Laboratory at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center performs a wide range of vascular tests for hospitalised patients, patients of the vascular clinic, and those referred from the community. The laboratory is equipped with an advanced, state-of-the-art duplex ultrasound system.

All tests are interpreted by the Director of the Vascular Service at Mayanei Hayeshua. The laboratory offers excellent availability, and patients receive their results within a short time.

The tests we perform:

Duplex of the neck arteries (carotid and vertebral arteries)

Duplex of the leg veins (deep and superficial systems)

Duplex to rule out deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

Duplex of bypass grafts and dialysis fistulas (bypass and AV fistula)

Targeted arterial and venous duplex studies for specific clinical questions, such as mapping the venous system before fistula surgery

Important to know

The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
Members of Meuhedet HMO and Maccabi are admitted to the clinic by presentation of a referral only or by payment according to the hospital's price list.
As part of the agreements also with Clalit and Leumit HMOs, Forms 17 will be given to the outpatient clinics, or a payment will be made according to the hospital's price list.

Medical Staff

Dr. Menashe Haddad

Director of the Vascular Service

Dr. Menashe Haddad, a graduate of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital School of Medicine in Jerusalem,
is the Director of the Vascular Service at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
He completed his residency in general surgery at Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva, where he later continued his specialization in vascular surgery.
He subsequently trained in this field at Centre Hospitalier Régional Hôpital Nord in Saint-Étienne, France.
He later served as Director of the Vascular Department at Beilinson Medical Center, and afterward worked as a senior vascular surgeon at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.

Dr. Haddad has decades of clinical experience in the diagnosis, conservative treatment, and surgical treatment of various vascular diseases,
arteries and veins, as well as in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphedema and chronic wounds.
He is a member of the Israeli Society for Vascular Surgery, the Israel Surgical Association, and additional professional associations abroad.

Michal Tairi

Director of the Vascular Laboratory

Michal Tairi, a graduate of the Kiryat College for Engineering and Technology, is the Director of the Vascular Laboratory at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
She previously trained in a vascular laboratory at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
She later served as a medical equipment technician in the vascular laboratory at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where she performed all tests conducted in a vascular laboratory.
She also trained in women’s ultrasound, obstetrics, and gynecology at the ultrasound unit of Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Later, she specialized in gynecological and obstetric ultrasound at a women’s clinic of Clalit Health Services.

Education and Professional Training

Medical Technologist, Biotechnological Institutes in Israel at the Kiryat College for Engineering and Technology – graduated with honors.
2012–2015 – Practical Engineer in Medical Instrumentation, Kiryat College for Engineering and Technology, Tel Aviv.
