Endocrinology and Diabetes

Dr. Assaf Yossi Manisterski, an outstanding graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University,
is the Director of the Endocrinology Unit at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva,
where he also completed a second specialization in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in the Endocrinology Department.
He has been serving as an endocrinologist and specialist in diabetes and metabolism at Maccabi Healthcare Services for over 15 years,
and as the Director of the Diabetes Clinic at the Maccabi Healthcare Services branch in Petah Tikva.
As part of his work, Dr. Manisterski treats disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands.
In the metabolic field, he treats osteoporosis and various metabolic diseases.
He also serves as a specialist at the Diabetes Institute, treating both Type 2 diabetes (“adult-onset diabetes”) and Type 1 diabetes (“juvenile diabetes”), and has extensive experience working with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems.
In addition, he guides and supports family physicians in managing diabetes care, serves as a consultant to pharmaceutical companies, and lectures at the Faculty of Medicine at Ariel University.

Currently serves as Head Nurse of the Outpatient Clinics.
