Plastics Clinic – Skin Lesions

About the clinic

Plastic surgery deals with restoring, repairing, or reshaping parts of the body that have been affected by disease or a medical condition — including birth defects, damage from injury, and defects left by previous surgery. Left untreated, these can impair function and, in some cases, lead to serious complications, so they call for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

The Plastic Surgery Clinic at Mayanei Hayeshua provides diagnosis and treatment for skin conditions where plastic surgery is the appropriate approach. If surgery is needed following diagnosis, the patient is scheduled to have it carried out as a day case in the Center’s operating
rooms.

The clinic’s medical team includes specialists and senior registrars from the Department of Plastic Surgery at Ichilov Medical Center, who bring extensive experience and expertise in the field.

Among the services we offer

Screening of skin lesions and moles, with removal where necessary — including pigmented lesions, cysts, raised lesions, subcutaneous lesions, and fatty lesions

Diagnosis and treatment of scars

Treatment of malignant skin tumours, including those on the face
