Mayanei Hayeshua’s operating rooms serve patients hospitalized across the hospital’s various departments, patients referred from the emergency room or due to trauma, and patients undergoing scheduled surgery across a wide range of specialties. The operating room team includes senior physicians, professional nursing staff, and a skilled anesthesia team, including a pediatric anesthesia coordinator and an obstetric anesthesia coordinator.
The complex includes six operating rooms — four of which have been renovated in recent years — along with a procedure room, a day-surgery room, and recovery rooms. The operating room complex is built to withstand emergencies and can continue operating even in wartime conditions. To ensure maximum availability for both emergency and scheduled surgeries, the complex runs 24/7, with extended shifts added when needed.
Our operating rooms are equipped with some of the most advanced technology available worldwide, including antibacterial surfaces and systems that support a wide range of surgical approaches — from highly precise robotic surgery to laparoscopic, image-guided, and laser- based procedures.
