The Trauma Unit specializes in acute injuries to the musculoskeletal system caused by falls, traffic accidents, and accidents at home or at work. The team diagnoses each patient, determines the treatment plan, carries out treatment, and monitors recovery.
We make a point of ensuring continuity of care, so wherever possible patients are seen by the same physician at each visit. The team includes orthopedic trauma specialists, nurses, and paramedical staff working together to support each patient’s rehabilitation.
The unit treats injuries to the musculoskeletal system from a wide range of causes, including:
Skeletal injuries (fractures)
Muscle injuries
Tendon injuries
Ligament injuries
Nerve injuries
The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
Members of Meuhedet HMO and Maccabi are admitted to the clinic by presentation of a referral only or by payment according to the hospital's price list.
As part of the agreements also with Clalit and Leumit HMOs, Forms 17 will be given to the outpatient clinics, or a payment will be made according to the hospital's price list.
