Home / Clinics & Institutes / Joint Replacement Unit
The Joint Replacement Unit offers both conservative and surgical treatment for diseases of the hip and knee. The team specializes in primary hip and knee replacement surgery as well as revision surgery — repair or replacement of previous joint replacements.
Care here is personal and professional, with an emphasis on tailoring treatment to each patient.
Before recommending surgery, the team always exhausts conservative options first, and supports each patient throughout diagnosis, treatment decisions, and recovery.
Surgeries are performed using advanced technologies and analytical techniques, including computerized navigation systems, robotic assistance, and implants adapted for each specific procedure.

Total hip replacement
For patients with significant joint erosion that affects their quality of life, after conservative
treatment options have been fully explored.
Total and partial knee replacement
For patients with pain and restricted movement due to joint damage, when conservative
treatments have not been effective.
Revision surgery
Repair of failed joint replacements, including loosening or wear of existing implants, instability,
and treatment of infections.
The hospital is independent of the HMO, and members of all HMOs are accepted there.
