The Imaging Institute performs a variety of tests for hospitalized patients in the departments of the medical center, the ER and outpatient clinics, and for examinees referred from the community, and privately.
The institute is equipped with imaging devices (X-ray room, scanning room, CT device, MRI device) and advanced computer systems.
The Institute’s staff includes professional and courteous imaging technicians and interpreters with special expertise in their fields. They do everything in its power to shorten the waiting times for the test and the interpretation report.
The Imaging Division at the Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center provides a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic, invasive imaging tests.

Ultrasound Unit
The unit has advanced equipment to perform a range of tests including tests of the abdomen, bile ducts, kidneys and urinary tract, prostate gland, thyroid gland, various Doppler tests, and more.
All the tests are performed by doctors. Pediatric examinations are performed by a radiologist who specializes in pediatric imaging (coordinated in advance). Ultrasound does not involve radiation, and the test is painless.
At this stage, the tests are performed for hospitalized patients and members of the Meuhedet HMO.
Computed tomography unit (CT)
The unit operates a new generation CT device – multislice CT. The quick and accurate operation of the device makes it possible to perform the most advanced and well known CT tests in the world. The trained staff makes sure to keep up to date with new tests that come into use.
In addition to the regular tests performed such as CT scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis, and the limbs, special tests such as vascular angiography CT, three-phase CT of the liver, arthrographic CT of the joints, and more are also performed.
Pediatric examinations are grouped together and carried out on a fixed day of the week under the supervision of a radiologist.

The X-ray Institute has two digital CR-type photocopy rooms – a modern radiation reducer that maintains the safety of the subject.
The institute has three portable X-ray machines that can be used to reach the NICU, the emergency room, and the patient’s bed in the ward.
