Dr. Eitan Gantz is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. He is a senior physician and joint replacement specialist at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, and later in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.
He completed fellowships in joint replacement at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and at Oost-Limburg Hospital in Genk, Belgium. In addition, he completed an academic fellowship at HSS Hospital in New York.
Today, he serves as a senior surgeon at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center and Shamir Medical Center – Assaf Harofeh.
Dr. Gantz specializes mainly in hip and knee replacement, both due to degenerative disease and traumatic injuries. He performs advanced joint reconstruction surgeries using innovative technologies, including robotic-assisted surgery, aiming to achieve surgical precision and optimal adaptation to the patient’s anatomy.
In the field of hip replacement, Dr. Gantz also specializes in the anterior approach, which allows minimal muscle cutting and faster recovery.
