CPA David Hurvitz

David Hurvitz is a certified public accountant with 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. He has taken a full part in decision-making at management and board level on substantive matters across management, accounting, and marketing in financial companies and corporations.

He served as a board member, senior vice president, and head of the Finance and Resources Division at Bank Poalei Agudat Israel, with professional responsibility for accounting, including financial statements, budget management, and ongoing reporting to the authorities and to management. Earlier in his career he was a board member and CFO at the Israel Maritime Bank and at Carmel Mortgage and Investment Bank.

Mr. Hurvitz holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Bar-Ilan University, where he also completed supplementary accounting studies, and is licensed to practice by the Ministry of Justice and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel. He later trained in risk management at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
