Dr. Amanda Sinai, a graduate of the University of Manchester in England,
serves as a physician at the Adult Clinic of the Mental Health Center at Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center
She trained in surgery at Wythenshawe Hospital and in medicine at North Manchester General Hospital in England
She later served as a physician in neurology, intensive care, accidents, and emergency medicine at Western Health in Melbourne, Australia
She worked in general adult psychiatry and old-age psychiatry at West Hampstead Day Hospital and St Ann’s Hospital in London, England
She also worked in child and adolescent psychiatry at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and in adult learning disabilities at Chase Farm Hospital in London, where she later worked in forensic psychiatry. In addition, she worked in neuropsychiatry at the National Hospital for Neurology in London
She subsequently worked in adult psychiatry within various public services in London treating learning disabilities
After making Aliyah, Dr. Sinai served as a consultant psychiatrist for intellectual disabilities at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, and later continued in this role at Beit Issie Shapiro in Ra’anana, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities
