Dr. Fabian Gerstenhaber, a graduate of the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine, serves as Head of the Department of Surgery at Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center.
He completed his internship at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, where he continued as a surgical resident and established the training center for laparoscopic surgery.
He was later appointed Senior Physician in the Surgical Oncology Unit at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center.
In addition, he completed an advanced clinical fellowship in surgical oncology under Prof. Alessandro Gronchi at the National Cancer Institute, as well as training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery under Prof. Paolo Bianchi at San Paolo Hospital in Milan, Italy.
Alongside his role at Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center, he serves as Head of the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Service in the Department of Surgery at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
