Dr. Peter Friedman, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bologna, Italy, is Head of the ENT Unit at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
He completed his internship at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Be’er Yaakov and at Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem.
He specialized in general surgery at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and in ENT medicine at Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem.
He served as Chief Physician in the ENT Department at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem, and later as Chief Physician in the ENT Department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
He completed subspecialty training in nasal and sinus diseases, as well as in vocal cord disorders, where he was responsible for the hospital’s voice laboratory.
He served as a medical adjudicator on National Insurance Institute medical committees and on the Ministry of Defense Higher Committee.
Alongside his work at Mayanei Hayeshua, he serves as an independent ENT specialist for Meuhedet, Maccabi, Leumit, and Clalit healthcare services, as well as an independent specialist for 'Clalit Mushlam' since its establishment.
