Dr. Shay Maron Eldar, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Be’er Sheva, is a specialist in bariatric surgery at Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center.
He completed a rotating clinical internship at Carmel Medical Center in Haifa and served as a resident in Department of Surgery C at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
He completed his specialization in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
He later served as a Research Fellow and Clinical Fellow at the Bariatric and Metabolic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA.
Since then, he has served as Head of the Bariatric Surgery Unit at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
