Dr. Tiberiu Shulimson, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Iași, Romania, is the Director of the Pulmonology Institute at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center.
He completed his internship at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, where he also continued his residency in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology.
He also served as a senior physician in the Emergency Medicine Department and the General Intensive Care Unit.
He completed advanced training in interventional pulmonology at the Pulmonology Institute of St. Marguerite Hospital in Marseille, France, and at the University Hospital of Canton Basel, Switzerland.
Prior to joining Mayanei Hayeshua, he served for a decade as Director of the Professional Unit for Interventional Pulmonology at the Pulmonology Institute of Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
He also authored the national guidelines for performing flexible bronchoscopy in Israel on behalf of the Israeli Medical Association.
