Dr. Yuval Weiss
Director of Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center
Dr. Yuval Weiss, Director of Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center, was born and raised in Jerusalem. He is married, a father of three, a grandfather of four, and serves as a Colonel (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces.
Dr. Weiss graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University in 1988. In 1996, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center, followed by a specialization in Medical Administration in 2004.
He began his leadership career at Hadassah Ein Kerem, serving as Deputy Medical Director from 2004 to 2008 and as Medical Director from 2008 to 2014.
From 2015 to 2023, Dr. Weiss served as Regional Physician for the Jerusalem District of Meuhedet Health Services. Between 2018 and 2020, he also served as Director of the Jerusalem District, and from 2023 to 2026 he led Meuhedet’s Home Hospitalization Division.
Since 2023, Dr. Weiss has been the Head of the Department of Healthcare Systems Management at Ramat Gan Academic College, and since 2024 has also served as Dean of the Faculty of Health Professions.
Dr. Weiss brings decades of experience in clinical medicine, healthcare management, and executive leadership. He is committed to professional excellence, innovation, and advancing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
