Mr. Shmuel Ben Haim

Shmuel Ben Haim is a graduate of the Sanz yeshiva in Kiryat Sanz, Netanya. He holds a BA in Business Administration, specializing in public administration, and an MBA specializing in human resource management. He served in the IDF Medical Corps, Southern Command.

For over ten years, he held a range of roles at Laniado Medical Center in Netanya, including assistant CEO and treasurer, and took part in the hospital’s development and expansion. He then spent ten years as vice president of a gas company, responsible for establishing and expanding its operations and helping lead reform in the industry through significant public and legal processes. During those years he also served as an employers’ representative at the Regional Labor Court in Tel Aviv, sitting on judicial panels and taking part in conciliation, mediation, and arbitration. Until recently he was a director representing the Ministry of Finance on the Pension Fund for Engineers and Architects, where he sat on the finance committee and chaired the audit committee.

A certified business mentor through MATI and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, he contributes extensively to the community in this field. In his current role as Vice President of Mayanei HaYeshua, he is responsible for, among other things, the recruitment and employment of all hospital staff, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and administrative, financial, and maintenance personnel.
